I am delighted to offer you a personal and heartfelt welcome to The Coventry SCITT.

Teaching is the most rewarding career and brings with it the privilege of influencing children and young people’s lives. The Coventry SCITT wants to work with people who are prepared to understand how pupils learn, thus making a significant impact on the progress and learning of the pupils they teach.

The strength of the SCITT programme is that you can learn the craft of teaching with guidance and support from expert colleagues both at the SCITT, and in your placement school. We support our trainees by giving them a subject/phase specialist mentor, an experienced subject lead, and access to a varied training experience in both primary, secondary and special schools. Our partnership’s focus is on high quality training, professional standards and positive outcomes for the children and young people in our partnership schools, and for our trainees.

Our bespoke teacher training programme will be tailored to your individual needs, and we are looking forward to welcoming you to The Coventry SCITT.
